Wonderful World of Waste!
At SATEBA, we believe in responsible waste management and actively support local initiatives to help reduce our impact on the environment and create more sustainable ways of working.
One of these is run by our colleagues at SATEBA France, where waste materials from its factory in La Riche are being repurposed to support local nurseries and market gardeners.
Waste wood and railway sleeper molds are being used to help with potting and planting, and even supporting recreational areas.
In exchange, the team receive boxes of vegetables and jams for employees to share.
SATEBA France has also received shrubs to create a hedge in front of the plant!
The result is a significant reduction in waste, and a positive impact on our environment, both at Sateba and where these items are being used. Which is good for our company, our customers, and our planet.
